I have years of experience supporting individuals facing mental and physical health challenges, which inspired me to qualify as an Integrative Counsellor and hypnotherapist. My Psychotherapeutic and Transactional Analysis training has equipped me to assist clients in navigating individual and relationship issues.
I work with anxiety, stress, procrastination and loss, to name but a few. I have a special focus on adults who experienced parentification from childhood, recognising the profound impact it can have on lives. Parentification, where a child takes on adult responsibilities within the family, often caring for siblings or parents emotionally and physically, can leave lasting impacts that extend into adulthood (setting boundaries, maintaining relationships and prioritising self-care). Acknowledging that your feelings are valid supports in prioritising your well-being.
I am committed to accessible healthcare and volunteer with Chronically Marvellous providing therapy sessions to ensure everyone can receive support. My approach is highly personalised, drawing from various therapeutic modalities, including Transactional Analysis, Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness, to suit your unique needs best.
I am passionate about guiding adults towards growth and transformation. Each therapy session is an opportunity for exploration, empowering you on your personal development journey. My diverse background allows me to provide practical strategies that help you overcome obstacles and deepen your understanding of the mind-body connection. I believe in tailoring support to each individual, ensuring a therapeutic experience that truly resonates with you.
I am an accredited member of The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and registered member of The National Hypnotherapy Society. I am regulated by both organisations and work in compliance with their ethical standards and procedures, including the Data Protection Act 2018. I am registered with the ICO.gov.uk
